The Meanies Party

We read the book The Meanies Party by Joy Cowley.  Meanies are rude and don't have any manners.  They do lots of horrible things like stomping on their food and putting old bubble gum on their pizzas.   They even eat their mud pies.  We are not Meanies.  We are polite children who use our manners and eat yummy, healthy food.
We made a T-chart to compare how we act and how Meanies act.  We also decorated some Meanies with crowns, hats, beards, earrings and hair.  We used coloured paper, shiny paper, glue and scissors to make them.  Here is our T-chart and our amazing Meanies all dressed up to go to the Meanies Party.

  1. Hello Bright Sparks! You have only been at school 11 days and learnt so much already! You look like you are having fun too! I am visiting today and so I am sure your manners will be far better than the 'Meanies'! I wonder how much growing your beans have done over the weekend? Keep up the excellent work!
